ARCADIA BEACH STATE RECREATION SITE A shady spot, just off of the highway and a few feet from the sandy ocean beach. Take a lunch break on your way north or south on Highway 101. Kick off your shoes and leave them in the car ... you’ll want to feel the sand between your toes and the waves lapping at your ankles.
