DEXTER STATE RECREATION SITE

Zipping down Highway 58 east of Eugene, you'll suddenly find yourself driving along side a long, skinny reservoir. In spring, summer and fall, the Dexter and Lookout Point Reservoirs are dotted with boats. Whether you like to fish or boat, you'll find a pair of convenient day-use parks on the lake.

Dexter State Recreation Site, on the western edge of Dexter Reservoir, not only has a large parking area and convenient access to the reservoir, but you can reach nearby Elijah Bristow State Park through a system of connecting trails. An 18-hole disc golf course is now open at the park (get the disk golf scorecard and map).
