VISITOR TALES: CATHERINE CREEK STATE PARK

Dear OPRD,

Here are the Visitor's Tales for Catherine Creek State Park.

We headed up to Catherine Creek Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 9. After the seven-hour drive, we met up with my girlfriend's parents at the campground. We were greeted by her two labs and they were happy to see us. We put up our tent in record time and quickly made a fire to enjoy for the evening. The next day we played games and went into the creek - very cold! During our time at Catherine Creek we played with the dogs in the creek, played games, sat by the fire and made s'mores and played card games. It was a great five days, and I encourage anyone to stay at Catherine Creek state park if you are looking for a relaxing but fun time!
