Here are the Visitor's Tales for Wallowa Lake State Park.

Our family of 18 (9 grandchildren) stayed at Wallowa State Park last June. We stayed at "Group Campsite A" for 4 days ... what a great site. We had such a good time there. The deer stopped by each day to check us out. The weather could not have been better, we had to use sun screen. The rangers came by our camp and talked with us and the kids loved talking to them.

Our family of 4 has stayed at Wallowa Lake every summer for the last 8 years. We were looking for a "our place" to visit each year and create good memories for our family. After watching a video tape of a friends visit to the park,we decided it looked like it was worth the trip to drive all the way from Portland. We did, and we fell in love with it. It has become "our place" and has created fun and exciting memories. Our children children are 17 and 14 now, and still look forward to many years at this wonderful place. There's something for everyone, young and old. It's worth the drive, regardless of where you are from.
